Saturday 15th February: The Wheel of the Year (In person workshop)

In conjunction with an exhibition of new work and taking place at Oil and Oak in Hay on Wye running 7th February - 30th April 2025

How can you live more seasonally? How does nature give us clues and provide us with what we need when we need it? How can you make changes in your life to live more aligned with the natural world? In this first workshop in a series of three we will make natural inks, create individual hand bound work books and weave a St Brigid's cross with our plans and intentions for the coming year.

Natural and organic materials are provided but you are welcome to bring any paper, fabric or natural materials that you want to work with. There will be a selection of tarot and oracle cards along with art and nature books to use and be inspired by. A vegan friendly organic homemade lunch will be provided with produce grown or foraged by Kate in her woodland vegetable gardens. You will go home with tools and materials to embrace working with the Wheel of the Year. Each workshop will also give advice and guidance on what to look for in nature, things to preserve and ways to mark the changing seasons. You will also be given a calendar to work with and take home on this first workshop.

Price includes all materials and lunch. Eight places per workshop available.
