Autumn Equinox - Seasonal Box

The next box will celebrate the Autumn Equinox and a time of abundance at the woodland. The contents are listed below, don't read ahead if you want a surprise!

These boxes are a way for me to shift from printed work to more handmade work that originates from and is inspired by the woodland I manage. My hope is that it will feel like a parcel from a friend.

It will contain the following (all natural materials, woods and seeds have been grown and or/harvested from the woodland):

Handwritten personal letter

Goddess painting created with earth pigments (below is a work in progress, painted with hawthorn ink)

Full moon rubber stamp held by a piece of hazel wood 

Dried hawthorn berries to make ink with instructions

Organic cotton handkerchief - The Apple Altar (artwork below)

Woad seeds grown and harvested by me

Slice of apple wood to make a pendant

Slice of apple wood with the ogham symbol for apple painted with earth pigments
