Alder Spring Box

The Alder Spring Box has been sent out. The next box will celebrate the Summer Solstice.

This box celebrates the alder tree and the beginning of Spring. It also marks the shift from printed work to more handmade work that originates from and is inspired by the woodland I manage. My hope is that it will feel like a parcel from a friend.

Each A5 reusable cardboard box will contain:

Alder design handkerchief hand stitched and made of organic cotton

An original A6 hand drawn artwork, inspired by the alder and the woodland. Each one will be unique

A small bottle of alder ink

Some alder cones to create your own natural dye or ink with instructions

Some information about alder trees (based on the text in the 2024 calendar with extra information)

Some seeds to sow in the spring, gathered from the woodland

Personal hand written letter 

An alder wood holder for your artwork

An alder wood pendant
