Afallwyn Woodland Box

Celebrating the life of the woodland I manage. We named it "Afallwyn" which means "apple grove" in old Welsh and is also thought to be where the name Avalon came from. This name captures both the practical and spiritual elements of what we are doing and how we are being on this land.

A small cardboard box containing:

Wooden pendant, select oak, apple or alder

Four elements spell jar. A tiny jar containing the following gathered from the wood representing Air (lichen), Fire (hawthorn berry), Water (river pebble) and Earth (alder cone)

A packet of woad seeds

Information about the woodland and the contents of the box.

This is a small version of my seasonal boxes and supports the work I do in the woodland.
